Tobacco Ads and Teens

Tobacco ads are meant to influence a young audience, it's how they earn their business! There is simply evidence in this because of the way the ads are promoted:

- Famous "Teen Idols" are usually seen in tobacco ads.

- The ads can be spotted in just about any magazine geared toward teens.

- The message that more often than not comes across in a tobacco ad is that it's "cool" to pick up a cigarette.
